1. Terms of Use

Welcome to Guestify. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms apply to all visitors, users, hosts, and guests who access or use the Guestify platform, including our website, mobile applications, and related services.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our services. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and we will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on our platform and updating the "Last Updated" date.

2. Account Registration

To use certain features of Guestify, you must create an account. When registering, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use our services. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. Guestify reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are associated with fraudulent activity.

3. Listing Your Property

Hosts may list their properties on Guestify by providing accurate descriptions, photos, pricing, and availability. By listing a property, you represent that you have the legal right to rent the property and that the listing complies with all applicable local laws, regulations, and zoning requirements.

Hosts are responsible for ensuring their properties meet health and safety standards, maintaining accurate calendar availability, and providing the amenities and accommodations described in their listing. Guestify reserves the right to remove listings that violate our policies or receive consistent negative feedback.

4. Booking & Payments

When you book a property through Guestify, you agree to pay the total amount displayed at the time of booking, including nightly rates, cleaning fees, service fees, and applicable taxes. Payment is processed securely through our third-party payment processor.

For properties with instant booking enabled, your reservation is confirmed immediately upon payment. For properties requiring host approval, your payment is authorized and held until the host accepts your booking. If the host declines or does not respond within the specified timeframe, the authorization is released.

Host payouts are processed according to the payout schedule described in our Host Payout Policy. Guestify deducts a service fee from each booking before processing the payout to the host.

5. Cancellation Policy

Each listing has a cancellation policy set by the host. The three standard cancellation policies are Flexible (full refund up to 24 hours before check-in), Moderate (full refund up to 5 days before check-in), and Strict (50% refund up to 1 week before check-in).

The applicable cancellation policy is displayed before you complete your booking. Refunds are processed to the original payment method and may take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement. Guestify service fees are non-refundable unless the cancellation is due to a policy violation by the host.

6. User Conduct

All users of Guestify must treat each other with respect and courtesy. You agree not to use the platform for any unlawful purpose, harass other users, post false or misleading information, or attempt to circumvent any security features of the platform.

Guests must respect the host's property and follow all house rules. Hosts must treat all guests fairly and without discrimination. Any violations of our conduct policies may result in suspension or permanent removal from the platform.

7. Intellectual Property

The Guestify name, logo, and all associated trademarks, service marks, graphics, and logos are the property of Guestify. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any Guestify intellectual property without prior written consent.

By uploading content (including photos, descriptions, and reviews) to Guestify, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the operation of our platform. You retain all ownership rights to your content.

8. Limitation of Liability

Guestify acts as a platform connecting hosts and guests. We do not own, manage, or control any properties listed on our platform. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Guestify shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services.

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to our services shall not exceed the greater of the amount you have paid to Guestify in the 12 months preceding the claim or one hundred US dollars ($100).

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration.
